ACIS & IBTHM CE Oversight Division

The Accreditation Commission for Integrative Sciences (ACIS), through its board-certifying division, the International Board of Trichology & Holistic Medicine (IBTHM), conducts formal review of Continuing Education (CE) courses for academic integrity, instructional quality, scope alignment, and ethical compliance.

This $250 per-course, non-refundable review fee initiates the structured evaluation of submitted course materials. Payment does not guarantee approval.

Review Includes:

• Administrative intake and documentation verification

• Curriculum and instructional quality assessment

• Scope-of-practice and ethical compliance review

• Formal approval decision issued in writing

• Assigned CE Provider Identification Number (if approved)

• Digital “Approved CE Provider” seal and usage guidelines

Important Requirements

• One application and fee per course submission

• Courses are not reviewed until both payment and complete documentation are received

• Typical review timeframe: 10 to 14 business days following full submission

• Approval is valid for one (1) year from date of issuance

• Renewal requires resubmission and revalidation

• Use of ACIS/IBTHM approval language or seal is prohibited until written authorization is granted

ACIS reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke CE approval if a course is found to be misleading, outside defined scope, or in violation of ethical standards.

Next Steps

  1. Submit the CE Provider Application Form for your course.
  2. Complete the $250 checkout process.
  3. Await written communication from the CE Oversight Division regarding your approval status.
