Self-Study Requirements

Site Visit Requirements

To ensure full verification of institutional quality and safety, ACHTHS requires a peer-reviewed facilities evaluation:

All site evaluations are conducted by ACIS-appointed peer reviewers and are included in the initial application fee.

Institutional Accreditation Process

Hybrid or Physical institutions must complete a Peer-Reviewed Site Visit (mandatory) prior to the final decision.

Submit the Accreditation Application

Accreditation begins with submission of the official ACHTHS Application and required documentation:

  • Institutional mission and governance structure

  • Academic catalog and curriculum outlines

  • Faculty list with credentials

  • Student handbook, refund policy, and grievance procedures

  • Facilities access or virtual classroom demonstration

Applicants select their institution type (Online, Hybrid, or Physical) to ensure the appropriate review and site evaluation are assigned.

Comprehensive Review & Evaluation

The ACHTHS Accreditation Committee conducts a full review of all materials and schedules the required virtual or on-site visit.
Evaluations verify:

Feedback and corrective guidance are provided transparently and professionally.

Accreditation Decision & Recognition

Upon completion of the review process, institutions receive an official determination:
✅ Accredited – Fully meets ACIS Standards of Accreditation.
⚠️ Accredited with Conditions – Minor corrections required within 60 days.
❌ Deferred or Denied – Major revisions required before reconsideration.

 

Approved institutions receive:

  • The ACHTHS Accreditation Certificate

  • The official ACIS digital accreditation seal

  • Listing in the ACIS Global Registry of accredited institutions

Graduation Celebration
